Day National Park Torres del Paine y Milodon cave
A wonderful tour of one of the most impressive Parks on the planet. The tour starts by visiting the Milodon Cave Natural Monument, located 15 minutes from Puerto Natales and then to the National Park.
In Torres del Paine you will visit the Gray Lake and Glacier sector, where you will walk along the beach to observe its Icebergs and the wonderful view of the Paine mountains. Afterwards you will go to the Pehoé Lake viewpoint and hike to the Salto Grande. The tour includes the viewpoints of Nordenskjold Lake, Sarmiento Lake and Laguna Amarga.
The order of visit may vary according to the itinerary of the day.

Meeting point: Hotel La Yegua Loca. First you will have a 3 hours trip to Puerto Natales, where a new driver and a guide will be waiting for you to start your excursion to Torres del Paine National Park.
What to bring: Warm and waterproof clothing, hat with earmuffs, personal backpack with waterproof bag to carry cameras and other delicate items, gloves, sunscreen, comfortable shoes and a neck support pillow for the trip.

Whales and Penguins in the Strait of Magellan
Humpback and sei whales, southern dolphins, Magellanic penguins and glaciers are part of the natural wonders that we can find in Cape Froward, the southernmost point of the American continent.
A full day cruise where you sail for 10 hours, will take you to one of the most remote and pristine places on the planet. A unique landscape surrounded by mountains, glaciers, lenga forests and coihues. Marine life surprises us with sea lions, petrels, cormorants, southern dolphins and many others.
Tour Details:
Schedule: from 04:00 to 18:00. The tour leaves from the offices of Solo Expeditions, you go by bus 50 kilometers south of Punta Arenas to Punta Carrera, then sail for 10 hours.
Duration: from 12 to 14 horas
Meeting point: Solo Expeditions office, José Nogueira street # 1255, Punta Arenas (4 blocks from our Hotel)

Kayak in Strait of Magellan and Horseback Riding
The excursion starts with half-day kayaking in the Agua Fresca Bay, 27 kilometers south of Punta Arenas and on the shores of the Strait of Magellan. During the 2 hours kayaking in the Strait you can observe a beautiful natural environment with mountains as well as wildlife, seabirds, sea lions and dolphins whilst being accompanied by a specialized guide.
Afterwards you will enjoy lunch at the Hostería de Agua Fresca and then depart for the horseback ride that lasts between 1.5 to 2 hours. The promenade combines steppe and Lenga forest on the banks of the Strait of Magellan with a panoramic view of the islands surrounding the city.

King Penguin in Tierra del Fuego.
The tour starts with navigation through the Strait of Magellan from Punta Arenas to Porvenir in Tierra del Fuego. City tour and visit to the Fernando Cordero Rusque Museum. The tour then continues to the Penguin King Park in Useless Bay, where a colony of this unique bird settled a few years ago. On the way back we will stop at Cerro Sombrero, where the first Tierra del Fuego oil field was discovered. Finally, we will board the ferry at the Primera Angostura crossing where we will sail for 15 minutes to return to Punta Arenas.
